Dr. Chandrasekhar Sompalli is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon with over 33 years of expertise in joint surgeries, specializing in the shoulder, hip, and knee. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Sompalli completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he developed his skills in orthopedic surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sompalli has been an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Midwest Orthopaedic Association, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He was honored with the “Leading Physicians of The World” award in 2007.

Dr. Sompalli is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Presence Resurrection Medical Center, MacNeal Hospital, and NorthShore University HealthSystem Evanston Hospital. He currently practices at Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Berwyn, IL, and Thorek Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
